Privacy Policy — Inclusive Web Inspector
Effective Date: July 26, 2026 Last Updated: July 26, 2026
Inclusive Digital, LLC, d/b/a Inclusive Web ("Inclusive Web," "we," "us," or "our") provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, store, and protect information through the Inclusive Web Inspector Chrome extension (the "Extension"). This Policy applies to the Extension and is posted on our website and linked from the Extension's Chrome Web Store listing.
By installing or using the Extension, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Extension.
1. Information We Collect
The Extension collects the following information:
Login credentials. When you use the Extension, you may enter a username and password [describe exact purpose — e.g., "to allow the Extension to sign in to a website on your behalf so it can inspect pages that are only accessible after login"]. We collect this login information only where necessary for that disclosed feature.
We do not collect login credentials for any purpose unrelated to this core function, and we do not collect general web browsing activity beyond what is necessary to provide the feature described above.
2. How We Use Information
We use the login credentials you provide solely to:
Authenticate to the website(s) or service(s) you specify, on your behalf;
Provide, maintain, and improve the core functionality of the Extension;
Secure the Extension and investigate misuse, fraud, or abuse.
We do not use your login credentials for advertising, ad targeting, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the Extension's disclosed functionality, and we never sell your information.
3. How We Store and Protect Information
Login credentials you submit through the Extension are transmitted to and stored on Inclusive Web's servers. We protect this information using industry-standard safeguards, including:
Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS);
Encryption at rest [confirm method, e.g., AES-256];
Access controls limiting who at Inclusive Web can access stored credentials;
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do not permit our employees or contractors to read or access your stored login credentials except as necessary for security investigations, legal compliance, or with your explicit consent (e.g., for support purposes).
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell or share your login credentials with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
We may disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers: to vendors who help us operate our infrastructure (e.g., cloud hosting), bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations, and only to the extent necessary to provide the Extension's functionality;
Legal compliance: if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
Security and abuse prevention: to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected fraud, security incidents, or violations of our terms;
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections;
With your consent: in any other case, only with your explicit permission.
We never allow human review of your stored login credentials except as described above (security investigation, legal compliance, or with your specific consent).
5. Data Retention
We retain login credentials only as long as necessary to provide the Extension's functionality to you, and no longer than one year. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
6. Chrome Web Store — Limited Use Disclosure
Inclusive Web Inspector's use of information received from Chrome user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements: we use collected data only to provide or improve the Extension's disclosed, user-facing functionality; we do not transfer data except as described in Section 4; we do not use or transfer data to serve advertising of any kind; and we do not allow humans to read user data except in the narrow, permitted circumstances described in Section 4.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You can:
Request access to the login information we hold about you;
Request correction of inaccurate information;
Request deletion of your login credentials and associated data at any time;
Withdraw consent for us to store your credentials, at which point we will delete them.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@inclusiveweb.co. We will respond within a reasonable time and, in any event, within any deadline required by applicable law.
8. Rights for Users in the EU/UK/EEA (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Our legal basis for processing your login credentials is your consent and/or our legitimate interest in providing the Extension's core functionality to you.
If we transfer your data outside the EU/UK/EEA, we do so using appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
[If Inclusive Web processes data on a large scale or as a core activity, confirm whether a Data Protection Officer or EU representative is required and add contact details here.]
9. Rights for California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your personal information, correct inaccurate personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell or share personal information (including login credentials) as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. To submit a request, contact us at info@inclusiveweb.co.
10. Children's Privacy
The Extension is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice (such as an in-extension notification).
